Money Saving Mondays Vol.3: Grocery Game Week 2 Results

Considering it’s Tuesday, I’m a day late for “Money Saving Mondays” - my apologies! I’m in grad school and I had a huge paper due yesterday that I got buried under. But I am super excited about this week’s Grocery Game results. Check out the digital pic to the left to see how much I saved this week: $153.50 - Wow! I increased my savings from last week by 50% - amazing, right? I had a different cashier at Ralphs this time, but this lady was very impressed as well.

This week was easier as I got used the The Grocery Game system and took on the stockpiling mentality. I had a cart and half of groceries and stocked up on several different items that I had coupons for. Cereal was one of those items. You know how cereal has become ridiculously expensive? It’s about $4-$5 per box these days. Well, Ralphs had a special on Kelloggs cereal and I had coupons too, so I ended up getting 5 boxes of cereal for the price that one usually costs me. I’m loving that! I definitely recommend you try out The Grocery Game if you want to save money on your grocery bill.
